An Eye For You Only!

Hi Everyone,

I guess you have noticed by now, that I haven't been posting everyday over this past month. The truth is I am away at my cottage for most of the summer and I don't have my craft supplies with me so it really limits how much I can create!  I have been doing my best with getting my Design Team projects done while I'm at home so I can get them posted before I head back up to the cottage.  Not to mention, the internet service cannot be counted on so even if I were to create , I may not be able to get it here on my blog. I am however enjoying a lot of carefree time with my family, which is really what summer is all about!!  It won't be long now before we are back to our regular routines and I can be reaquainted with my craftroom on a fulltime basis! lol

That being said, I do have a new card for you today to kick off a new challenge over at the Outlawz in the Copic Challenge Group and the theme is everyone's favourite Anything Goes!  Our sponsor this month is Dilly Bean Stamps .  Here is my card to help get your creative juices flowing!!

This adorable image is by Dilly Bean Stamps, her Big Eye Art collection.  I just love how her look just draws you in!  I did some fussy cutting with the designer papers to get the butterflies to embellish with and used some fancy adhesive ribbon that just happen to match perfectly!

I hope you have some time in your craftrooms to join us this week with a challenge everyone can play in!

Thanks for stopping by!

Goal!

Hi Friends,

Well I am having some internet issues up here at the cottage so I am a day late posting the new challenge in the Outlawz Copic challenge.  This week our challenge is Olympics/Sports related card.  I had the perfect digi by Mayzy for this challenge.  Here is my card for a little inspiration!

I had a new grass die that I wanted to try out and this was the perfect card to do it on!  I added liquid glass to give the ball a shiny look!  I added some stickles to her ribbon in her hair and added some shiny stars to finish it off!  Be sure to stop by the Outlawz and join us in the Copic Challenge Group.

Thanks for stopping by!

Yummy!

Hi Everyone,

There is no limit to how sweet  these Mayzy images can get!  Today a new challenge starts at MayzyArt  and the challenge is 'Anything but a Card'.  I know that all of you are so creative, I can't wait to see what you come up with!!  I decided to decorate a homemade jam jar to give away to a friend!

This the the front of the jar.  I printed out some digital papers to use on the lid and glued a ribbon around the lid.

I added to scalloped ovals with a little rhyme to tie it all together!

Made especially for you!  I haven't put my jam jar in the fridge yet to see how my glue holds to the jar when it's cold, I'll have to let you know!!  So lets see what all of you out there can come up with  this 'Anything but a Card ' challenge!!  Remember you could win some of Mayzy's fabulous digis found here.

Christmas in July!

Hello to all my Friends,

Well, it's that time again to celebrate Friday with a brand new challenge! This week our theme is "Christmas in July"  Seems funny to be making a Christmas card when the temperatures are at over 100 degrees farheinheit.  I will say it is certainly refreshing!!  So dig out those festive papers and get crafting!!  Here is my card to help you get started!

This little cutie is by this month's sponsor 'Dilly Bean Stamps'. You can find their shop here.  The papers are by Bo Bunny and the sentiment has been wet embossed and is by Close to my Heart.  I used a SB lacey die to mat the image on and a MS border punch behind it. I added some liquid glass to the beak and feet and some stickles to the heart.  The pompom and the fur on the hat was given some dimension with some white flock.  Lastly, I punched out some holly with some gems and added bells to ring in the season!

Be sure to stop by and join us for the refreshing change and celebrate Christmas in July over at the Outlawz Copic Challenge Group.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Flurries in July!

Hello to all my friends,

If you are looking to participate in the 2000 Member Tutorial blog Hop you can find it here!  Remember the party has been extended until July 7th so there is still time to join in the fun and games an all the wonderful prizes!!

I am sorry I have been MIA for the past couple of days, I have been up at my cottage with one tower that powers all the WIFI and with it being the long weekend, it is the busiest it has ever been, so I have not had the power to access my laptop very often and when I do it has been with limited access.  I had no idea how much I took this for granted until now!

We have a new challenge starting in Through the Craftroom Door and the theme is Christmas in July!  I always find that by the end of November you are tired of the Christmas themes and ready to move on, that's why it's always refreshing to bring them back in the summer when we've been away from them for awhile!  So pull out those festive papers and lets see what you come up with!  Here is my card for a little inspiration.

I just love these colours together, it's like a beautiful snowstorm! So be sure to stop by and check us out at Through the Craftroom Door.  Not only is a host to a wonderful challenge but it is a online magazine for all you crafters out there with  75 pages of cards, layouts tutorials and so much more!  As an added bonus there are free digi giveaways for all who subscribe.  The best part about an online magazine is it is a fraction of the cost!!  Can you believe as low as $2.56 a copy, that doesn't even cover the cost of the free digis!   So be sure to check it out for yourself  here to get yours today!

So get your Christmas spirit and dust it off and show me whatcha got!!  Be sure to stop by here  with your creation for a chance to win wonderful prizes!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
