Delicious!

Hello to all my friends,

It's Friday and we all know what that means!!  A new and exciting challenge over at the Outlawz in the Copic Challenge Group!  The theme is everyones's favourite 'Anything Goes' and for those of you out their who have been creating calendars it's time to see September!  This time of year I love all the berries that are in season so I chose to use one of Mayzy's images enjoying her share of strawberries for my card!

Isn't she so cute!!  This year for Abigail's Birthday she wanted to be able to grow something and then eat it so we bought some Topsy Turvy planters and soil and gave it a go!  For those of you out there that know me well, I have never been able to keep anything alive in my house (except for my hubby, girls and my puppy) thank goodness!!  So we planted cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and strawberries.  I am happy to say that we have harvested a little from all of them and they are so much better fresh!  It wasn't until we added the soil already to the strawberry plants that we found out we should of added some sand to the mixture. We didn't get very many strawberries this year. With all that in mind, I created this card to depict how sweet it is to be able to enjoy what the earth can give us!!  I hope you'll follow me over to the Outlawz and join me this week with whatever you may be working on right now!  I look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  7. Adorable with beautiful coloring! Love how your paper is perfect for this darling image of Mayzy's. I didn't know you were suppose to add sand to the dirt for strawberries - one of the great things of blog hopping - you learn something new every day! My great Uncle grew strawberries and I swear some were as big as the palm of your hand! Have a great weekend! Safe travels home - Hugz!
